I am in the process of restoring a 78 f-150. The body-man suggested a new tinted (at the top) windshield to replace the current plain one. Additional reason was to get rid of the pitting that exists on the old one. Does anybody have any experience w/ this? Will a new windshield really look that much better (besides the benefit of the tint at the top)?
Personally, I think it will help. Especially when driving into the sun. Not only because of the tinting, but because there are no pits to cause other glare and distortion.
