03 EB Expedition: when i have the sunroof open, the wind deflector sometimes vibrates so bad I can't stand it and have to close the roof. Do any of you have this problem?

 

I personally do not like the Ford sunroof wind deflectors that are offered for the Expedition and Navigator. I like the more streamline lower profile aftermarket versions offered on Ebay and other places. The Ford ones seem to be too high and very obvious. But to each his own i guess.

 

Wait - I'm not talking about the plastic accessory. I'm talking about the piece that pops up when you open the sunroof.

 

Oh, well, in that case, my little pop up deflector doesn't vibrate.

 

Stretch the straps just a bit. I think I read this in my repair instructions that came with my new sunroof. Apparently, the straps are just a tad shor and applying a little force to strech them out stops the 'booming'.

(Look for one of the Ford certified techs here to confirm or refute)
