That built up is from a year or two ago. It is a nice bronco, but it must be nice to be able to replace every single part on an early bronco,ie. new frame, top, body panels, sheet metal, running gear etc. If i remember right, the only things used from the original bronco are the firewall and the title. they built a "new" 66 EB. It was kind of a let down for me to watch.

I was thinking along the same lines. How does someone have the time or money to invest in all the stuff that they used? How many people are going to buy a body rotisserie (They used it for stripping the paint off on the show).

Guess I was a year late in watching it. But then again I just got my 73 so I have been looking for them more closely now

I saw one episode recently where he said they have to cruch any vehicle they work on that is not owned by a private party for liability reasons. He showed a lot of the sweet projects he worked on and said which ones went to the crusher. Sad, very sad. I am sure most guys would have signed a waiver saying that they would never sue anyone involved in the project for a free truck or rig. I know I would have!! So now he only works on trucks that won't be crushed.

Crazy horse is a pretty old project, but it shows up at SEMA and other shows, so I think it's among Stacy's favorites.

It would be nice for a change if a tv show or magazine would build a rig using a realistic budget, maybe $6500 to $7500 total or less(cost of rig included). Just to show what someone could build without a second morgage.

I agree that most shows have DEEEEEEP pockets and build rigs that the average joe couldn't even begin to build. However, Xtreme 4x4 did just that. They took a CJ (?) did a SOA kit with tera flex revolvers, lockers, bead lock kit and Boggers and came in just over $4000. http://www.xtreme4x4tv.com/show_details.aspx?iid=4482. Dish DVR is great. I record everything with 4x4, off-road or rock crawling in the title or description.

There was another show too. Oh Doug Meyer in 4x4TV. They took an XJ, lifted it three inches, put some tires on it. http://www.atvtv.com/4x4tv.html. Still a lot more could be done, but they are starting to at least.
