well thanks. I have been looking at some websites this evening. And I am wonering if i should go with 3 seats and not get teh center console or jsut buy two seperates? The reason i dont want teh middle console is because i plan on building a box and putting a sub between teh seats!!! Imagine taht!!! And i need the most possible room between the seats. So which would work better?

The seats up to at least 1998 will fit in your truck from the other Ford trucks. You would need to take the slides from your existing seat and change it onto the new seat as the bolt patterns should be the same. The aftermarket seats can be done the same or just order them with the rails to match your truck bolt pattern. I have 2 10" subs in boxes behind my seat and I am installing a custom 40/20/40 Seat in my F150. Hope this helps.

Well here is what i was planning on doing. I was looking at soem seats at the junkyard.NON of which where ford seats. And the dood sugested tath i get a mounting bracket the jsut bolts into where teh bench is now attached and then i jsut have to bolt the new ones on..with maybe some drilling depending on how they fit. Is this a good idea??? Also i am looking at soem small seat so that i can have at least 16 inches in between them.!!! Would this work well?

In most cases, the seats as long as they are comfortable to you will work. If you are willing to make your own mounting brackets for them, it is just easier if you use Ford seats as they are almost a straight bolt over for you. You can get some U shaped channel steel and make your own custom brackest if you have the tools and the time. They have a bunch of nice "take out" seats at some of the conversion places for our trucks that do make it easier. But those are new seats and are a little spendy. Hope this helps.
