need help in reading engine block codes

Hello,
just got a 70' 302 Mustang. I am trying to figure out what the engine block code means. I just want to figure out RPM, heat range, the usual data. Any body have any ideas?
Code is c8am-6015-b and the bottom code is 26g9. all i seem to get on the internet is for a F-150 P/U.
Thanx,
Mike

Hey Mike if you havent already got your information call the ford dealer and ask for parts. Tell them what you are needing to know and they should have the answer, if they are nice.Tony

It looks like you may have a "Mexican" block.

Identified by casting numbers C8AM-B, 75ZY-AA, D1ZM-AA, among others, these blocks may be spotted by the "Hecho En Mexico" cast in the lifter valley.
