Brake Controller Socket under dash??

I will shortly need a brake controller to pull a camp trailer. Currently just have a 4 wire trailer plug, going to 7. Some Ford trucks have an OEM socket under the dash, ready for a brake controller. My 96 Aerostar extended has the "tow package". Anyone know if that includes this socket, or is it a wire from scratch deal? Thanks, all.

The brake controller answer

This is MO51, answering my own question, in case anyone needs to know. Unlike newer Ford trucks that have an underdash socket, a brake controller on a '96 Aerostar is a simple, 4 wire from scratch installation. I found I had an old Tekonsha Mark 12 controller in my packrat box. Five minutes on the internet, and shazaam, a printed out owners manual. Savings: $100+-. Life is good.
