RobinBc,

You need to go back and reread my first post apparently,I don't want to take the kit out just the top spacer. The 2.5 kit imo is to high without lifting the back a little. You can tell when you drive it and when you tow with it the back is to low,it squat's very easy with not much of a load.As far as the rough ride ,I don't expect to ride like a cadillac but I'd at least like to have some of the ride quality it had stock. As for taking it off road if you think taking a $30,000-40,000 truck offroad and thru the mud make's a man out of you or cool then you have more money than sense or else your're just plain ignorant!

Hello Everyone,

I got the EZ Lift installed yesterday and the kit was not too hard to install considering I have a friend who owns a auto shop. Pulled truck on the lift and about an hour install was complete.I did not have to change anything on the front-end alignment. Checked it and it was ok.Instructions are well written and easy to follow. The truck looks a lot better and it's pretty close to being level.I will post some pics soon.

evl150...........

I installed only the top spacer(Daystar kit) about a year ago, no problems. The top spacer is 1 1/4" thick. It gave me approximately 1 5/8" lift. Yes you can uninstall the Daystar coil spring spacer and reinstall the OEM coil spring spacer(if you kept it). I have pics of the extra lift.

Ruckus,

It might be a little stiffer ride but I expected that from a truck anyway. I drove close to 120 miles today on back roads as well as the highway and can hardly tell a difference other that it's not nose down anymore and that’s what I really wanted, the truck to sit level. It’s about 3/4 of an inch different from the bottom of each fender well. I wanted it level and that’s what I got and so far I am very pleased. And I have pics.

who, The lift looks like the height it should have been from the factory. It sounds like you got just what you wanted. The 2 inch EZ Lift is what I am considering ordering.Good Luck!

dgdee,
I want to make sure I'm on the same page with you.The top spacer is the one you left in and left out the one that kinda wind's around the spring and is visible, correct?
Also the factory coil spring spacer you speak of,do I use it only if I take both spacer's or not?
