Unhappy Gone

I finished Chemo #6 last friday, still feeling weak & yuchy but I got word that my Dad's health has deteriorated rapidly in the last couple days, the Dr's don't expect him to survive more than another day or two, so we are heading to Victoria, BC hoping to see him before he dies, won't be home until after the funeral.

Will chat with you-all on here once I am back home.

Unhappy

We are still heading out early tomorrow, but the urgency is past, I got word that my Dad passed away @ 6:15pm today Alberta time. So the only thing to do is gather the family together for a few days to celibrate his life.
None of us knows how much we can handle until we are faced with having to do so, but rest asured I don't break that easy, I have barely begun to bend... .

Well said Dennis. Nothing hurts more than losing your closest loved ones, but never forget the good times, and there is always someone close for support.

Best wishes to you and your family, my sympanthies to you and your family.

My sympathies to you and your family Ken.
Both my parents passed quicker than expected. Even knowing the time was near, loosing those last couple of days was also a great loss.

Howdy all, thanks for your kind words, we are back home from Victoria, was a sad time but good to gather with family & friends to honor his life. If Dad had survived another 6 months He & Mom would of celibrated thier 50th wedding anniversary.
His minister told me that when the Doctor told Dad he was Terminal, Dad responded that we are all terminal sooner or later... .
Our trip out & back in my F350 were uneventful, but while I was out in Victoria I tore up a Honda Civic in a parking lot, turned a Honda into a Hundai, no damage to my Ford anyway.
