Inner Fenders - 69 and late 70's?

I'm getting a late 70's F250. My 69 F-100 cab on forward is going to swap over to it with a flatbed rear. The inner fenders on the 69 are shot and it's been 20 years since I've been under the hood of a late 70's truck....

Are the inner fenders on the late 70's compatible with the (outer) fenders of my 69?

thanks.

no the inner fenders on a late 70's truck have the hood hinges on the inside of the inner fender as apposed to the outside like the 67 - 72 trucks.i have run into this same problem with 68 f100.nationalpartsdepot.com has inner fenders for these trucks but the only one they have available is the right side.

Thanks for the response. When I tear into it, maybe I'll lucky out and be able to fabricate something.... weld a monster outta the two of 'em.

Basically I'm thinking about making a yard truck for a fun project with my kids. Taking the 250 and pulling the body and engine / tranny out (engine is shot). Putting in an I6 240 with a granny 4speed. Then the 69 cab and doghouse with a lift. I've got 4 dually rims with chunky treads that I would put on. The fronts will be put on the opposite of normal ( wider stance) and put 1 dually rim on the back the same way. The rear is not a dually axle so the tires would line up with the fronts.... just wider all around. It's just gonna be run around the acerage and I think since the current rear in the 250 is with a C6 tranny it'll really be GRANNY in 1st and 2nd - a real stump puller.

Not planning really to work with it too much, just something to haul trees outta the woods, etc. Wide stance is just for fun and I think it'll look kind cool.

Mine is 2wd as well... and will probably stay that way. It's a "1st project" and doing it this way - I have all the parts. Heck, I don't even know what the rear gearing is, but like I said, just kind of a fun one for the yard.
