no spark at coil

Is there any way to rig the coil directly up not going through the wiring harness? I have tried two different coils for this engine.

Have you pulled codes and/or checked the TFI module? No spark is a possible symptom of a bad TFI module. Bad module will often leave codes in the computer (CM 14 and 18 I think it was).
