Re: Mileage......

i posted a question on here a few days ago, thanks to the guy that replied, but afterwards i figured out that i should have been a lil more detailed. it is an '88 bronc, 4x4, c6, 8.8 in the rear, and i will be rebuilding the 351 in it next spring (i can't wait to start in on this beast). any ideas on what the mileage will be in town and at about 60mph on the highway? thanks again guys

351 will be about 12-14 MPG (or was that GPM) on a good day...downhill, with a tailwind @ 60 MPH. In town will be marginally worse. Its a 2.5 ton rolling hunk of Detroit steel. If you can get better mileage without sacrificing perfromance, we'd all love to hear how. Good luck with the project.

yeah i guess it was stupid to ask in town, that don't matter at all. i'm mostly concerned about what my mileage will be on the highway at about 60. i love this bronco and i'm pretty sick of my car so i decided i'm going to sell the car and put money into the bronc to make it my daily driver/part time off roader (only part time because i still have my 79 f250). thanks for replying so quick
