Beverage of Choice?

Whats your beverage of choice when wrenching on your stuff?

Mine would be Coors Light.

To get some tech, how many beverages does it take to pull a tranny?

Now for the real tech, anyone have any pictures of their crossmembers that they've made for the tranny/t-case?

And, which tires should I run? 34x10.50 LTBs or 36x12.50 TSL Radials? Truck is gonna see lottsa mud, snow. Mainly a hunting pickup, but will hit up the occasional mud drag.

i'm not a big alcohol person but i will put down some Diet Dr Peppers!

i don't have any pics but i used just a straight piece of 1/2" plate running from frame rail to frame rail!

the 36's you'd be more likely to break stuff but the ground clearance could prove to be invaluable if you drove smart! i think if you have the motor go with the 36's!

Apple juice...

Im fine with water, thank you. Of course, Im more mentally stable than, say, Pro, for instance, so I dont need something to help me make it through the tough times during a build

Im underage anyways though
Parents might be a little displeased to come home to see an electricuted body missing an arm because half of it is in the drill press...other half is in the table saw. Thats excluding my little bro which would be under the tractor...

Suprised Pro and Ivan haven't chimed in yet. I'm a Coors light man myself.

Bud Light or regular old Busch beer will get you in the redneckin' mood.
As for pullin the tranny, I'd say, probably 3-4 to get it out, 1 for each u-joint, and 2 for the transfercase removal, and the same amount for the re-install, and a 12-pack for the testing, done safely in my mud pit in my back yard with spectators, so it's only myself I hurt. Naturally...
