Question driveshaft shim with lift ?

I have a 2001 250 SD that I would like to lift 2" in the rear with either a 4" non-tapered block or an add-a-leaf. My truck has a two piece driveshaft. I have been told three things regarding potential driveshaft angle problems: 1)use a driveshaft shim kit, 2) have the axle tilted to compensate, 3)do nothing, it's not enough of a change to matter. Any help would be appreciated.

Going up 2" in the rear probably won't require much of a shim. Probably 1/4" up to a 1/2" shim at the most. If you're on an incline, park your truck facing downhill and chuck the wheels. Should be less than 10 minute install.
