Anyone and everyone, I have a question.

I have a 95 T-bird that I recently put in a 351W and a C6.
The motor and tranny came out of a 1985 F150.

Well, the other day, I picked up a 390 with a C6 for real cheap. The guy said the motor and tranny worked fime when it came out of whatever it was.

My question is, are the transmissions swapable between the motors?
I have heard that the FE tranny mount is differnet than the Windsor tranny mount.
Will the FE C6 bolt on to my Windsor?

Thanks
Nick

UM...No...FE has its own bolt pattern...a C4 has a removable belhousing, so its swapable..but not the C6....however the internals are the same, you could swap the guts....d44hd
