will it hurt to pour diesel kleen grey bottle in fuel bowl when changing fuel filter. having hell with the math. 6 cetane on 16.5 gallon front tank. 6 cetane on 18.4 gallon rear tank. How much please help?

 

6 cetane = 32 oz for 50 gal of fuel
.64 oz of DK pre Gal fuel
10.56 oz of DK for 16.5 gal fuel
11.77 oz of DK for 18.4 gal fuel

I tried this once and it did not seem to make a difference. I think after some reading that most of the DK goes back to the tank via the return line.

 

If you do a search for diesel kleen or fuel filter I think that you will find that most guys use DK in the fuel filter. That is what I personally use after reading about it on this awesome forum!
