uh oh! vibration in rear AFTER change gear oil!

uh oh! vibration in rear AFTER change gear oil!

After filled the grease by slip yoke driveshaft and filled Mobil one gear 75w-90 in my rear end 9.75" axle with 3.73/limit slip (replaced clutch pack) yesterday and didnt drive around much but no shudder on take off slowly.

Unitl today i took a bit long riding and now everytime i turns to left or right, i could feel a very little vibration in rear end YIIKKKEE!!

It got me think that mobil one gear DOESNT come with Friction modifier!!

I went to grabag where i threw 3 qt bottle out...i found that one of 3 bottle with label "Friction modifier" .

Before i changed the fluids, there was NO vibration when turns left or right AT ALL...

Look like i better get that fluid out and buy royal purple max gear 75-90 or whatever come with Friction modifier.

I hope i didnt damage to it .

any feedback?

Thanks!

Just add the friction modifier as per the Ford users manual. you didn't damage a thing, the clutch packs are just grabbing.

Update!

I decided to drain mobil one 75w-90, clean it up, then filled Royal purple MAX-gear 75w-90 and its BACK TO NORMAL!

NO more shudder on take-off.

Thanks!
