Question Energy Suspension Front Axle Pivot Bushing?

When I installed my Polyurethane front axle pivot bushings from Energy Suspension, they came with 2 1/8th inch thick Polyurethane rings (might be spacers ?) the same size as the bushings.
Didn't seam to fit anywhere.
No instructions, Where do the poly rings go?
Anybody know?
The Axle pivot bushings for Most Ford TTB and I- Beams are the same.
My lift kit is on the way and if they serve a pupose I want to use them .

These had me confuzzled too. I didn't use them and never had a problem but who knows, I might have down the road. Alas, I will never know. Greystreak went to that Big Bronco graveyard in the sky shortly after I did the replacement.

I usually save those kinda things but have too many boxes of STUFF like that.
I tossed them last time I cleaned the garage.
Thanks Greystreak.

These rings are called thrust washers. They are used if you use the shell that they supplied rather than re-using your existing shell. The bushing goes between the pivot arm and the mounting bracket on the shell side opposite the shell flange with tapered edge away from the pivot arm. I think they do this since the new shell does not get crimped like the old shell and the thrust washer keeps the shell from possibly pushing out. I had to call Energy Suspension to get this information (instruction sheet #1705). As I recall the washers are approx 2 1/8" diameter and approx. 1/4" thick.
