Well after some extensive research, I think i have the correct engine mount but cannot figure out how it would attach to my frame. So my question is one do I in fact have thry right one or not. So if there is anyone that has their 292 or 312 mounted in a truck could you PLEASE send me a picture of the fron mounts. Below is what I have to work with. You might try posting your thread in other forum's also...like 1948 to 1960. There are loads of members there with yblocks but I don't think they all watch this forum

 

All trucks mount from ears on the cast iron bell housing, and the front center of the timing cover to the crossmember. Cars use side mounts on the block and those holes are in ALL blocks.

 

hi there are two kind of mounts , small f ,s mount like a car side mounts , big f,s have three mounts two at the bellhousing to your crossmember near your gear box ,one at the front under your pulley hope this helps
