Oil Pressure Sending Unit
#1
Where's my oil pres sending unit?
Ok, I know there are probably nineteenzillion posts out there telling me where this thing is, but I can't seem to find a one of them. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where the oil pressure sending unit is on my engine. I've got a 99 Ranger with the 3.0 FFV. Thanks.

Just 5 or 6 down in the same forum. Search for "oil guage only works after engine warms up" or similar in this and the Ranger forums. Here's a link :

Is the location of the sender the same in the 91 3.0L as in the 99 3.0L FFV? I looked at the block on the right side behind the cylinder head, no luck.....unless I'm blind and just not seeing it....i also referenced my chiltons manual.....that thing is pretty much useless when it comes to telling the location of the sender. Can someone just straight out tell me where I can find this thing.
