I have an E4OD tranny that I'm trying to sell, so that I can buy a ZF5 for my '86 F350.

I listed it in the classifieds here, and a guy is asking me about using it in his 4x4. He's hot to add an OD for better MPG's. My E4OD tranny is in an '89 F250 2WD.

I know that on the T-19's you can just swap the tailshaft; but I've never worked on the auto's.

How easy is it to make a 4wd version from a 2wd E4OD ??
