Recall due to fires caused by brake cylinder and speed control?

Recall due to fires caused by brake cylinder and speed control?
I heard that some of the 99 F-150's are covered under a recall that replaces part of the brake cylinder which causes fires, due to a speed control problem?

Anyone have any info on this?

I believe Ford is only covering the 01 or 02 model yr right now. Check the last "READ FIRST" topic in this forum.

Yes, there is a quite lengthy post on this with all the info you will probably need. Only 2000 F150's and 2001 Supercrews are effected by the recall.
