Water in Heater Box F-250 2001
Ok hope someone can help! I have read all the post regarding this and I can't seem to find a drain hose, the only thing I can find is a little hole on the underside of the heater box (looks like a half circle). This hole does not look to be block because when running a/c some water does drip out. What is happening is the heater box on the passanger side of the truck, behind glove box is filling up with water(clear)and the water is splashing onto passanger side floor on turns and hills. I was able to slide a q-tip in through the vent holes and there is water definatly in the box! Does anyone know if there is another hole or hose i should be looking for do drain this out. Also how does this water get in there? Leaking window /cowl or is it just from running a/c or defrost and it is just not draining out?
Any help would be great!!!!!!!

There is water in the glove box ( yes it is water, no sweet taste) and the manuals were wet when I bought it. After looking under the dash I see that the water has been splashinhg around for a while.
afdter reading your post I am wondering did you ever find out what the cause was of your was in the dash. I would love to learn form your experience.
thanks, dave

Water
Possible Windshield Leak ??
I've seen several Superduties with windshield leaks. Some seem to come from the factory with them and one came after a windshield replacement. Have someone flood the windshield w/ a garden hose - then look around in the cab for water. I've done this on two trucks now and the leaks seem to be @ the corners of the windshield. Ended up pulling the windshields & resealing to fix them.
