2001 turbo beetle or if Im lucky our new Tahoe, but I prefer the beetle. Im not a GM guy and my wife throws a fit when i drive the tahoe anyway. Its got less that 2000 miles on it, doesnt want me to put miles on it:} and I drive a 2003 GM 3500 p/u at work everyday. truck has the 8.1 liter big block. I like driving it over the 3003 Ford super duty. The chevy rides better. I only work 3 hrs a day if that so Im not being molested that much, haha. i love mmy job, I go in a 4am, get my stuff done and Im off by 7ish home by 8am, work 6 days a week though and have the rest of the day to do what I want. Just incase your wondering, I drive a truck for the family business, and all the profits from what I deliver goes into my pocket. Pretty nice actualy. by this time next year Ill be making over a $100,000 a year take home so Im happy. Still on a somewhat budget right now with my truck, I still wanna start a side business, and I have to save some major coin to do that.

Here is mine:

and yes the doors are on backwards,
they can be used as brakes,
you can let cold air in without opening the window,
I get out of the truck just fine.
etc, etc.......

I've heard them all boys.

I drive my stock 1960 F-100 daily, year round. The only exception is when the roads are too heavily covered with snow or ice.

Mine is 1991 Isuzu Impulse. It's small, but it just has to get me and my lunch box to and from work. It gets 30 mpg, has all wheel drive, a turbo charger and handling by Lotus. I drive it every day even when it snows two feet. Its a fun car, but getting a little old.

I would not drive a vehicle that I wanted to keep nice to my job site everyday. The roads aren't paved the whole way and the unpaved sections are treated with MagChloride to keep dust down. For those who don't know MagChloride is worse than salt for corroding steel. The Impulse has some cancer holes in the lower fenders.

Just got an '05 Sierra 4 door. First new vehicle since '86. I need to drive it and the '56 to see which rides better. I know the Sierra has more creature comforts, but that will come for the '56 too. And Rey, I like the doors! Hope you took lots of pics during the process and can share.

2000 Chevy 1500, short bed, step side... I love it. It has the 4.7 litre v8 and can wax the doggie-doo out of my brother's F-150 that has a bigger motor... it is close though. The thing also corners good and stops even better... has HUGE disc brakes on the rear... and like I said, man does it STOP!

Sam.

Now that we have four running vehicles, I either drive the red ford, or the red Ford, or the red Ford. I loaned the blue Ford to a buddy for a while.

The little beater is a 94 Taurus with 180K, still runs great. The big beater is a 85 Dodge B250 extended van with 382K, I know every squeak and noise in it as Ive had it since 86. The biggest beater is a 79 E350 12' box truck with a fresh 351W. They all get their turn.

For nice weather it is a 54 F350; 53 Ford Victoria, customized and with full race flathead; 68 Impala SS-396 ragtop.
In process: 55 F100 (fighting with myself between 351W and 460) and a 31 A roadster with 312 Y block.

Out back future stuff: 43 1/2 ton, 49 Chrysler Sport Coupe, 47 Lincoln sedan, 27 T coupe.

I always got a thrill watching the girls wearing the short skirts get in and out of the sucide doors.
