Kind of a vague question. Stock? Modified? Either way a Y block can make some serious torque.

The 57 TBird 312 was top rated at 265/336 HP/TQ. A stock 59 292 is 200/285.
I figure my warmed over and truck use built 292 at 275/335 with most of the power in the low to mid range. Even with the stock 5.14 rear it seems quite content at 65. This is a 54 F350 with 17" bias plys and stock brakes so Im satisfied at that top speed.

I'll be putting my 292 in a late 20's early 30's truck.
