Momudder have you thought about having another meet? Seems we have a little more interest in the Mo chapter. Maybe with the weather getting nicer we can get a better turn out.

If anyone else is interested lets hear it, that way we can get a better idea of who is interested and maybe we can get everyone to commit to a time and date.

Let's pick out a day. Any Saturday (for the most aprt) will work real well. Since the weather's getting warmer, we won't have to worry about firing up the furnace to keep warm out in the shop now.

 

I'll throw one out there. Saturday April 23. If everyone thinks they could do that or has a better date let's hear it. I think the 23rd should be far enough away so that everyone could plan ahead to be there. Let's try to get as many people as possible to show up.

 

The 23rd looks good for me, I get off work at 9am that morning, as long as they dont madiatory me.

 

So is the 23rd a go? If it is lets post it up and get some people there.

I've got enough to go around, smart_ _ _. That's the same day as the wife's birthday, so I gotta make sure that she ain't got nothing planned first.

I think I have to work that morning, so, let's say, 2 pm at my place? Unless we want to meet somewhere else. You guys are probably plum tired of watchin me fix my junk and call it a 'meeting'.

 

Did you get that truck going yet? I'm up for anything. Your place is fine with me hopefully we can get a couple more guy's to show. Maybe we can decide on a chapter logo.

 

Yea, I got it going again. New axle and disc brake conversion. Brakes are a little spongy, but hey, it's a mud truck, right? Hopefully, I'll have the rest of my crossover steering stuff in by then and you can watch me install my new steering linkage. That oughta be a bit more interesting that watchin me tear apart a crappy chebby axle.

 

So that's 2 on Saturday. Who is planning on attending?

 

I ma still planning on it, girl friend off so she may be tagging along unless she has plans for us already.
