Yep. I'll be there!

I'm planning to go to the HSR races tomorrow.
Historic Sportscar Racing. (cars) Should be pretty neat.

Looks like the AMA event will be a Saturday morning, then all day Sunday thing for me. (Baseball coaching duties). You planning to go either day?

As I side note, it looks like I'll be attending all 3 days of Motot GP events at Laguna Seca the weekend after 4th of July. Now THAT has me excited!

I think I'm going to try and do a few track days at Barber's this summer. I kinda hate to risk crashing the bike.

But, the way I see it, I've already ridden under greater threat of crashing during all those runs of the Tail of the Dragon.

See ya!

No doubt, at least on the track, there will be no backing up out of a blind curve right? Sound like you are a busy guy. I'm gonna try to go to the Saturday event, but it'll be the Monday prior to the event before I can make a decision. If the weather is good I'm gonna ride the scooter, but if it is questionable, I'll bring the ol' 4.2. I think my son will want to go as well, at least I hope so.Maybe there will be a few more 4.2 members there, and we can have an impromptu gathering. I'll be in touch later, and thanks for all the links.

It was a nice day at the race track today. It got pretty cold this morning when the wind picked up. I was colder than I had expected!
Actually, I was the first paying customer to enter the gate. For a short while I had the entire back straight to myself. A decent crowd did show later though.
Fastest lap of the day, 1 min 27 sec, was done by a '92 Mustang Cobra Trans Am car. He was real fast.

Big suprise for me....
They had an offer I couldn't refuse: $30 got you 30 min on the track.
There was a pace car so I expected 30 mins at 50 mph. I was wrong.
Lets just say I put the 4.2 thru the paces behind a Porsche and a Ferrari.
It did better than I would have expected.
I'll post in the 4.2 forum and give more of the story.

Talk to you later.
