Daul Exhaust f250

I know this question has been brought up before. But I can't get a straight answer. Is there a company that sells a bolt on daul exhaust for a 2000 f250 4x4 Super Duty . I was told I would have to get one fabricated at a muffler shop .

I had a CAT back system mad at my local Midas shop. The system has Flowmaster mufflers and 18" stainless exhaust tips. I have the system exiting out the back rather than behind the rear wheels. Performance is up slightly and the sound is great. This Midas shop happened to have a guy that was really good on the tubing bender and the number of bends is minimal. The through exhaust diameter is 2.5". I hope this helps.

If you want the throaty sound your best bet is to go custom and use a flowmaster 40 3" in and dual 2.5" out or magnaflow.

If you're handy with a sawz-all and a welder you can adapt any dual system for your truck... Mine (gallery) was off a dodge longbed... dual out the back... a few cuts and rewelds and it comes out the corners just fine... you may lose your spare though, I did... But it was worth it All I did was buy a 3" in and 2.5" out magnaflow and 2 18" tips and welded it all together... if you find a truck with the same bed length as yours they're more or less all universal... in my case 8ft bed (pretty standard)

Hope this helps!

I checked the site. I guess I should have told you I have 5.4 Gasser.

Looks like from the other post's I will have to get one custom made. The daul's I have seen fabricated on the gassers looks like the spare will have to be removed or melt.

I thought there was lots of company's that made dual exhaust for SD's, even 5.4 and 6.8's? Flowmaster makes a couple kits, Gibson for sure, Magnaflow maybe, there should be a ton of them, look around a little....

Steamer1234,

Try researching company's such as: Gibson, Borla, JBA, etc... for aftermarket bolt-on dual exhaust kits.

I have to ask... do you guys that have the exaust striaght out the back not tow? I mean, that side pipe is bad enough with the soot on the body of the truck. I can not even imagine what 2 straight pipes would do to a trailer.

I have checked several manufactures. It seems if you have the rear sway bar and a 16" spare tire mounted under the truck like I do. Your only bet is to get one custom made. Borla says they make one for $800.00. I can get a custom made for about $250.00. I'm not looking for any tips just duals out of the muffler tail pipe. I don't have a welder or bender. So it looks like I will be paying a shop to fabricate the pipes for me.
Thanks for all your input..
