Protective Oils for Shipping

I ordered some bed panels and they will be arriving with a "protective oil", and not primed. What should I use to remove the oil before priming? I did some searches in this forum, but could not come up with any specific cleaner.
Thanks, Newt

Good ole' warm soapy water made with Dawn dish detergent. Before shooting your primer, be sure and use the cleaner/degreaser recommended for your paint product, or good old laquer thinner works well to. jmo

Spray brake cleaner works good too, any grease cutting agent, and then rinse and follow directions on primer.

Thanks, Boy, since this is my first attempt, I thought it would be a lot more technical than having my wife go out with the dishwashing soap and do the panels.
Seriously though, I will be looking for guidance all the way through this process. I'm going to do all the prep work and primer and then have someone with a spray booth do the final color. Thanks again, Newt
