Brush guard w/o removing skid plate?

I have a 04 FX4L2 Ranger and I would like to add some lights to the front end.
Does anyone know of a brush guard or bull bar that mounts without having to remove the skid plate or making the tow hooks unusable? I know that is probably asking alot. Thanks.

Welcome to FTE !!!!

I've got the same truck and was looking at all sorts of accessories yesterday. Not sure about that front skid plate having to be removed, but I doubt it would take very long. Do a google on bull bars and see what comes up. Also, don't worry to much about those tow hooks. Using them will probably damage the bumper cover or the license plate bracket will probably come off (or both)unless the tow is straight ahead. Add don't forget, during a tow your truck just might slide or have to be turned. I hope I never have to use mine. On the other hand, if you run a strap to both hooks, then the main tow strap to what I just mentioned, you're probably ok.

Thanks for the reply. The thing is I dont want to remove the plate. I've only had this truck 6 months and I already "used" the skid plates 3 times. Manik and Westin both make great looking bars but they require mounts where the plate is.
Maybe what i am looking for is a bull bar that mounts to where the tow hooks are? Hmmmm....

Maybe use a cutting torch and modify the skid plate to clear the bull bar?
