Installing Coil Spring Spacers

I got some rubber spacers for my saggin front end. Where is a good spot to jack up the truck to take all tension off the springs?

memorex can you tell me how those coil spring spacers worked out, I'm thinking of a set, was going to go with leveling springs but nobody could guarantee me a full 2", so I was entertaining the 2" spacers thanks

If you have OE' sagged springs' on the front you can replace them with the 'heavy duty' version of them and obtain the same two inch raise. Runs about ninty bucks and you dont have to worry about them bouncing out when you hit a bump.
worked great on my one ton. bob

Yes, go with aftermarket or heavy duty springs. It might cost more, but they are more reliable and don't ride as rough as just spacing out. I took the spacers off :-\

I just got some coil boosters and I'm not really sure how to install them. I just want to lift the front end, this is the cheapest way I found, are there any more cheap sufficient ways to lift the truck??

What kind of alignment issues did you guys run into when putting in the 1.5-2" leveling springs in the front? I am looking to do this on my 1988 F150 4x4. Did you have to change camber bushings, and if so, how many degrees did you have to change by?

Hello,
Noticed the thread, and thought I would jump in. Back many years ago, I broke a spring, on a 84 F150 4x4, so I figured I would go ahead and level the front end out by ordering the heaviest springs I could find from a local parts store. Well it leveled it out, but the top of the tires were cambered out so far, it couldn't be brought back into spec. Didn't want to mess with putting the 1.5 - 2" drop brackets in, and didn't want to go throught tires, so I put a set of standard springs back in. I still have the springs, if anyone is interested and want to give it a try.

TC
