00 4.2 where did the oil go?

3 quarts missing in about 2-3k miles for about a year now. no puddles on the driveway and no smoking
any ideas>

Uhhhh, elves siphoning out your oil while you sleep?? Seriously, though, are you sure there are no signs of a leak under the hood, OR, under the truck, as in on the exhaust pipes?
