Door panels on 85

My door panels have faded and kind of gotten chalky looking on the inside. They are not cracked or broken, just look like crap. I have heard that there are interior paints made for just this kind of thing, and was wondering if anyone had used them, if they worked, if one brand was better than another, or whatever info anyone might have about this. I didn't find an interior board, so I thought I'd try here. Thanks.

There are a couple of good primers and paints that can be used to freshen up your door panels. The biggest thing to remember is to make sure you get your door panels super clean, otherwise
the new primer and paint will peel off. Check with your local body shop supply house as to what kind of cleaner, primer and paint to use. If its done correctly, your door panels will look
like they just came from the factory.

Worse comes to worse Ford still makes those exact type of panels for the f-750 trucks. They probably are up-there in price though. Good luck.

Contact www.autostyles.com/sem. I used their product and I am very pleased. I changed my interior from blue to Gray. Art
