fellow cajun needs help

i need input from someone who races fords ...I have a 85 ford f-150 custom and it has the 302 efi and a Aod trans with 3.73 gears out back .my girlfreind took it and caught it on fire and fried the wiring harness...the bad thing is everything was new on the truck from suspension to paint . I want to rip out all wiring and replace it with a painless kit and run a dual 4bbl set up .. can anyone here give me any advice or kinda help me out with some info.. i know I should junk it but its kind of sentimental to me . I am wanting to go with a street rod approach. I am from abbeville louisiana if someone is willing to come look at it and give me some advice .

Sorry to hear about your delimma, but I can't help you other than recommending you post this in another forum - there are a lot of knowledgable people out there.

Try the forum for your model year truck first ... good luck
