Hey Guys; I am over in Caddo,just outside of Decatur.Anyone know anything about a m5od transmission?I've got a 89 f150 that had a aod,then i put a 4 speed in it and now I'm going to put a 5 speed in it for better gas mileage and lower rpms on the highway.got the 5 speed up in Crossville Tn. and now I'm going over it with all new seals.I want to put on a new input shaft bearing butI am having a problem getting the shaft out.Any ideas? a guy at work who works on autos said that the shaft should just kind of pull out and away from the other shaft.I've got the shifter case and the front bearing support case off,but it just don't seem to want to come off.
