I paid $400 through the dealer near LaCrosse WI and they gave me a Grand Marquis for the day to drive while they had it done. Would have been about the same cost direct, but for the free wheels and gas while it was being done it was worth it. 5.5 ft bed.

It looks awesome though so I'd say it was worth it.

Mine was $370 including pulling the tailgate panel, tie downs and bed bolts. This is on a 5.5ft bed.

just my personal choice but i don't think that i would really want somebody taking out my bed bolts ( be my luck that they wouldn't tighten them back down ) had a 02 ranger that had sprayed in and they sprayed over bed bolts never any problems

I would not want these guys removing my bed bolts either.Besides how often do you remove your truck bed?I would tell them to spray over the bolt heads.Good luck!

I watched the guys with mine. Bed bolts came out easy (new truck) and went back in easy. I made sure they got them good and tight because I was a little concerned about them taking them out in the first place. I was also a little concerned about the bed shifting while they had them out and it being a "bear" to get it lined back up and the bolts back in. Did not move at all, I could tell they had done this before.

I'm up in the Seattle area and it cost me $475 before tax. I also got charged a $5 fuel surcharge. Only one other place around here had it cheaper and that was for $450 but they where 2 hours away.
'8 bed.

I'll give you one reason for the difference for in price... location. This is not just true for Line-X, but with many other products as well.

I got mine done in Brownwood, TX which is a small town in central Texas with a majority of its population being farmers and retired people. The other location I talked to, Austin, is a city with a much higher income per capita and a lot more expensive, luxury trucks. The people in Brownwood are just not going to pay the prices that they can get in Austin. They would go with a cheaper liner instead.

The Brownwood location did everything the Austin said they were going to do and I am very happy with the quality. They both carry the same nationwide warranty. Austin is a 1-hour drive for me and Brownwood is maybe just over 1.5 hours away, so it was a no-brainer.

$355 after the $20 off coupon from the Friendswood Tx dealer.

I origianally called a yellow pages dealer who quoted a slightly higher price, but was closer to my house. During the conversation it came out they they were gonna drive my new truck over to thr Friendswood dealer to have it done. That was all I needed to hear- no teenage mutant ninja driver was gonna drive my brand new truck some 30 miles to the other location- I DON'T THINK SO .

So i assume that Line-X is a better liner than rhino? seems no one even considered the Rhino liner in this post. Just curious. I'm definitely not going with a drop in liner when i get my new wheels.
