1979 460 headers

Just got done building the 460 for my 79 F-150 Custom 4x4. I am having a lot of trouble finding headers that will work right. I know fenderwell exit headers will work and know quite a few companies that make them but i am not paying 500 some dollars for a set of headers. So do you guys know of a company that makes shorty headers for this engine? or with my 3 inch body lift and 9 inch suspension lift allow me to run normal headers just fine? hit me back and let me know.

thanks

Hooker makes a set of swap headers, I'm not sure what they run.

Shorty headers won't help you too much, you'll get too much heat in the engine compartment.

you can also use the truck manifolds from 83-87 460 in a 4x4 F250, they will work.

also van exhaust manifolds from the late 70s with a 460 will work, and if you can find a set of regular headers for a E350 van that should also work.
