Just got done building the 460 for my 79 F-150 Custom 4x4. I am having a lot of trouble finding headers that will work right. I know fenderwell exit headers will work and know quite a few companies that make them but i am not paying 500 some dollars for a set of headers. So do you guys know of a company that makes shorty headers for this engine? or with my 3 inch body lift and 9 inch suspension lift allow me to run normal headers just fine? hit me back and let me know.

If you find some for less than 500 some dollars, post your source here. There tons of guys, my self included who would like to find some. In the mean time, I'm saving my pennys for some L and L fender exit headers.

Ditto. And they also sell chassis exit and fenderwell exit L&L headers for about $405. When it comes to headers you'll get what you pay for.
