? on compression ratio on a 5.8

I got an engine out of a 90 E2 or E3 series van. It's a 5.8. I'm wondering if someone can tell me what the compression ratio is on these engines. I'm planning to rebuild this van engine and put it into an older truck. knowing the compression ratio will help me plan my parts list. thanks for any replies...

It's about 8.5:1.

thanks pfogle. do you know if dish type pistons are in their now? My main objective is to have about a 9:1 or slightly better compression. do you know if my factory heads along with flat top pistons would give me that ratio?
