Aside from Flowmaster, what is the loudest exhaust?

Getting ready to throw a catback system on my truck. Prob gonna go with a SI/SO setup and I was leaning towards Banks or Magnaflow. I've done a lot of reading and it seems a lot of these aftermarket systems are quiet. I'm not looking for my truck to be as loud as my racecars but I want to hear some rumble. Any input and experience is appreciated.

Gibson Super Truck exhaust is very loud. SI/DO in front of the rear wheel opening. My neighbor has that set up on a Dodge.

AeroTurbine without Resonator Or you could just cut off your muffler

I'm not looking for it to be stupid or annoying loud just don't want to spend the money on a catback setup and have it not being much louder than stock.

What's involved with the Aero Turbine deal? Did you just change the muffler and tailpiping? I like the ease of the premade catback setups because I don't have a lot of extra time.

What other exhausts have your tried and what did you like/dislike about them?

I have heard that in my state (MA) that the gibson super truck exhaust is illegal because the tail pipe exits to close to the cab. Is this true? I heard that it should be at least 3 feet away from the cab.

I heard a new FX4 that sounded real good so I followed the guy to the same carwash I was going to anyway, and it turns out he cut the stock muffler out and ran a straight pipe out the back with no muffler. It sounded good but here in Pa. I don`t think you can pass inspection that way.It sounded very good, not overly loud.In fact,I would do it if it weren`t for the inspection thing.

I had an exhaust shop do my Scab with the 4.6. He installed a Vortex single in dual out muffler on it with 3 1/2" tips and it sounds great. I have had nothing but compliments on it. Very nice on acceleration and low rumble at cruising speeds. Not too annoying. Plus it doesn't void the warranty nor will it fail inspection (at least here in DE).

Nosfrog, you want loud, but sorta legal, go to the 18" Magflow, the one that you can look straight through like an old time glasspack. It's loud, fairly cheap, and almost no back pressure. But it's gonna drone on hills.
