Steering Coupler

Does anyone know if their is an aftermarket steering coupler for a 79 ford f150 w/ power steering. I have a 3 inch body lift and i am going through the rubber ones like nothing.

You can easily add a UJ, though one of the reasons for the rag joint is so you do not get your chest impaled on the steering column in a bad accident. Basically, you get stiff armed before the collison, the accident pushes the column up, your arms bend or separate the wheel from the column and the remaining sharp spear gives you a ka-bob.

You need to know shaft OD, how many sides (if hex) and spline count (if round) to have a custom UJ coupler made.

Lift kit companies sell extenders too, I have used them before on body lifts.
