I am creating this thread hoping to find a day that works best for everyone to have our local gtg's. So far we have been having them on a saturday night at 6 once a month, this has been what's best for Ken and myself, I would like to hear from you all if thats workable for you, or if a different day would be better. I know everyone has a different work schedule so im trying to make this more convienient for us all. Please let us know what is best for you personally so Ken and myself can plan ahead to help this chapter grow bigger and stronger.Thank you for your time.

so do we wanna cook, or just order BBQ? the BBQ joint at GFF (grocery store in moore) is thE BEST for the money hands down. I think a family pack is like $13 or something. and it will feed 4 (absolutely stuffed) so they are my vote for sustenance for the GTG.

we could either host it at someone's house, or a lake or park.... I am sure most parks will allow beer. and most lakes allow fishing, if one should so desire. I like overholser, good photo oprotunities.

I am thinking last week end of march? there are not very many places in moore that are very kind to club meets that I can think of. however there is a mexican joint right by the house here that is supposed to be really good, and there is plenty of parking. there is a chinese place right in front of the mexican place and a 7-11 right there too.

I suggested ealier that we have a BBQ GTG, which would be great, and we could most likely have it here at my house, or at the Moore kid's play park. or we could have it at that big park on may and 119th (12th and May if you're a Moore-on LOL)

I like the idea of the park on SW119th near May, Earlywine Park, just around the corner from my house. It is close to I44 exit 111 for SW119th for those that might come from the north side. They have covered pavillions and BBQ stands as well as picnic tables, rest rooms, etc. It is a real nice park. There is some construction in the SE corner away from the picnic areas. They are building a YMCA.

I will bring the charcoal!

One word of caution, the cops like to run a speed trap on that part of SW119th. Speed limit is 40MPH. Don't ask me how I know or my wife.

That sounds like as good a place as any to me.....we could bar-b-que, or there is a little ceasers right there with the 5 dollar hot and ready pizzas....if its nice out i might show up a little early just to enjoy the weather, so if 6 isnt workable for some people get ahold of me and we can plan to meet up earlier if neccessary.....

OK, I am going to say Earlywine Park is the destination for our next GTG.

Now, I am going to be out of town on the 18-19, so I suggest we go for March 26th at 6:00 PM. anyone disagree, take it up with management!!! lol J/K, oh wait, I am management haha.

does this sound good to everyone? Tom feel free to post a response, we know you're out there, trolling. hahaha
