You can terminate a lease at anytime you want as long as you are willing to pay the penalty (what ever amout is still owed on the lease). I just terminated a lease early a few months back. If you find the right dealer, work a deal on the vehicle price, and trade in value on your current lease, and factor in the rebates. You should be able to come in under MSRP. Throw a good down payment into the mix and you are on your way to your Super Duty. Good luck.

I too am looking to end my Expo lease with 8 mo. to go and buy a SD. I've looked hi and low along with speaking to several Ford dealers. Seems the only way right now is to eat the remaining balance........can be painfull

No "early-bird" programs at this time. When Ford has offered them in the past, they'll waive up to 6 remaining payments, no more. If you have less than a year to go, it's usually cheaper to pay off the remaining payments than to try and trade it in and carry over the balance.

I've been leasing vehicles for myself since 1983, and that (to me) is the only downside to leasing: getting out of the lease early is VERY expensive. From strictly a $ standpoint, you're better off keeping the vehicle till the end of the lease.
