Power Mirror Glass

My friend knocked off the outside power mirror glass. I was wondering how to put the glass back on. (BTW its a power mirror) Cuz chiltons doesnt say anything about the glass.

Not sure if I understand correctly. Only the glass come off? The actuall mirror assembly is ok? Go to a auto parts store and get some silicone glass adhesive and stick it back on.

ok i wasnt as clear as i thought. The glass came off along with the braket that mounts to the motors inside the housing.

Ok, I get it now. There should be some pins on the back of the mirror assembly, did those break off or are they still good? If the pins are ok, you should be able to just press the mirror back on (use gloves or a shop towel over your hand just in case it breaks). If the pins are broken you may be able to get them at the dealer, but they will probably want to sell you the whole mirror with bracket.

Ok i got that much im gonna need to replace one of the plastic pins on the back. However the two motors have rubber gromets to protect them. What happens with those
