How to bypass the PATS ???

Can someone tell me how to bypass the PATS (Passive Anti Theft System)?

For what purpose?

To install a remote start, use a bypass module.

If just to eliminate it, you will need extensive work. The PATS system is integrated into the PCM software in addition to its own hardware. It might be possible to reflash the PCM and to bypass the hardware, but this would be a major undertaking to accomplish.

Some / most autoparts carry a universal bypass module or Ebay.

I would like to use a plain jane key to start my truck.
