I just joined this forum in hope that I could get some information from all of you Ford truck lovers. I recently purchased a 2001 F350 diesel to tow a new 5th wheel RV and I have learned that with the length/weight of the RV I should get exhaust brakes installed. I live in Fredericktown (SE Mo.) and I need some advice as to where I can get the installation work done in the area south of STL that will be done WELL without breaking the bank for me. HELP....please.

I have also been "told" that all I need on my truck is a "kit" for the installation as there is already a butterfly valve built into the exhaust on the truck??? Not being a mechanic, but a retired high school band director, I need advice on all of this.

Do some research on the web and figure out which one will work best. Then we can get together some afternoon and put it on.

 

Well if you lived closer to Rolla i could help you out, but it would be a drive for you .and it may take more than a day
