MIne too - code 27

Code 27? do you mean the light flashes twice - then seven times. Like the old style codes. If so, my 99 f-150 just started doing the same thing for no obvious reason. I will be looking into it and will let ya know if I figure it out. - Have you found anything new on yours?

figured it out (from another post)

Code #27 means the passenger indicator switch buld has burned out. I replaced it with a new dealer unit ($62) and it resolved the problem. I took the old unit apart and found out is is a filament bulb soldered onto a pcb board. I replaced the old bulb with one from radio shack for .37 cents and am keeping it as a spare. The factory should splurge and use leds for applications like this - it would save us a lot opf hassle.

good luck - Ken

No Prob! FTE works!

Sorry for the slow response. I just figure out this is sending messages to my old email. I was happy to post and help out. Thats what I love about this board. It has helped me many times and for the first time I was able to help others. Actually, I found the code from another kinda unrelated post and figure it out that way. Saved again!!
