Bolt help for my lift

Hey guys, I live 165 miles from home (where my project is) and I need to buy some supplies for my lift before I head home.

Need to know all the bolt sizes for front/rear springs/hangers etc for a '75 F250. I would have my dad go out an get them all for me but he is sunning himself in Florida, so I should get some decent ammount of work done on it this weekend. I had a few that needed the blue wrench applied to them upon disassembly, so I am just going to replace them all with grade 8 hardware.

Ivan, hope you don't mind but I'm gonna steal some ideas from your shackle reversal.....

Pro, you wouldn't happen to know the bolt sizes for the springs?

Well, I'm gonna copy either you or Ivan for my front lift then!

Should be 9/16.

Ivans was new enough to come with the front shackles already in the rear. It doesn't really matter who you copy because Ivan copied me and I copied Bigfoot...all more or less the same thing.

Ya hopefully this weekend I get my 44 under the front. I really need to find a HP 44 or a 60 yet. Still gotta figure how much lift I am gonna need to do in the front yet. I have 4" skyjacker rear springs, with 4" blocks under them. I will probably eliminate the blocks all together and do the shackle flip this weekend, so I will need new U-Bolts too before the weekend.

On my '85, the rear spring eye and shackle are 9/16". However, I believe the front spring eye is 5/8". The 9/16 was kinda sloppy but it hasn't broke yet. When I did the springs and shackles on my F250, I ordered the bolts from www.jackit.com. They have 'kits' put together with all the bolts you need (locking & grade 8). They aren't that expensive ($25 for the rear and I think $20 fronts). They were all the right ones and saved 50 trips to the parts store.

You'll probably have to call up to order them as I didn't see them on the website.

bremen,

Thanks for the info, I do know I have 2 different sizes on the rear springs, I have a smaller bolt holding it together now, and would like to replace all of the originals with new hardware.
