I am not sure of the correct answer for you. I painted a fiberglass side car for a motorcycle. I sanded it and cleaned it, and then painted it with an epoxy primer. Then I used single stage paint over it. Seems ok after about a year. That is the only fiberglass I have worked with. You might want to contact Leer to see what paint they use and what would be compatible. Good luck with it.
I purchase an A.R.E top for my truck back in 2002. The color was white and I wanted it the arizona beige. I took the top to the body shop man and paid him to paint the color I wanted. Cost me $150.00
