I have an '04 FX4 Extended Cab and I'm looking to put 2 10's in my truck and looking to buy a premade box. I seen musicmooseaudio, supercrewsound and subbox.net all make boxes for our trucks. I have Image Dynamic subs that list a mounting depth of 5.25". I'd like to hear some feedback from those who have used these boxes and how well they worked and how good they fit under the seat. I need to have the back seat in the same position and function as it is now.

Also if you've put an amp behind the seat, how much room is back there? My amp is 26X10X3--do you think it will fit?

I have the stealth box under the back seat driver's side with a JL 10" sub. Looks like it came with the truck from the factory. Carpet matches perfectly. Have one amp under the back seat, passenger side (had to remove the jack) and one amp behind the back seat, drivers side. System sounds awsome! If you want more details let me know.


2005 Lariat Screw.

 

I bought one of those prefabbed boxes.It Sucked.Blew it apart in a week.Had one custome made but now I cant lift my seats up.I had to put my amps under the front seats which also sucks.I have to tell anyone who gets in the back not to step on them.

 

I bought one from musicmoose and should have it Monday. Hopefully it will do the job.


J.... who did you get your box from?

 

I forget who I got it frm but it never fit right.It stuck out from under the seat about 2".My new one is much better and they fiberglassed the inside to seal it.
