Edmontonian's, who's all up here?

So i made the move up here to edmonton, it was a long day yesterday, broke down in calgary (see calgary FE guys for further info on what happened), it was cold, and then the ehater would never really warm the truck up because it was so cold.

Anyway i'm just all wondering whose all up here, and if anyone would like to together for some coffee, I'm up on the end of manning drive just behind the new police station a couple of blocks.

Talking

I lived in Edmonton 26 years ago while attending Nait, didn't want to live there once my wife & I got married, so we moved out to small town Alberta, Grande Prairie is almost big enough to be irritating now... .
I am comming into Edmonton in February, comming south on the 4th or 5th, I have an overnight stay in the hospital February 6/05 before heading for home on the 7th.
I will be doing my best to avoid all the Radar traps all over the city while I am there.

Yeah i'm still trying to shake the farmer driving style and switch to city mode, farmer stops don't work to well in the city.

How bout we get together at the end of the month/beginning of feburary, i'm in school by then but i will be down by noon hopefuly (will find out tomorrow for sure).

We should be able to find time for a coffee when I am down there, if you want.

Cody. Best of luck on that adapting to city life/Edmonton weather thing.
I could never , in 26 years in Calgary, get used to the few and far-between chinooks there. One year in Edmontons' winter, and you'd find me in a rubber room in Ponoka.

This last little spell without a chinook had me in such a bad mood.......
Thanks goodness for the Southern Alberta wind.
3 days from a foot of snow to bare grass. Yeah!

Yeah i know what you mean, i'm missing my flareside already (it isn't exactly the winter weather driving vehicle, the rear end will comeout kicker on you then you can imagine), but i like snow too so its not all bad, but this ranger i'm driving isn't exactly a stoplight to stoplight racer, its the exact opposite. But at least this way my flareside won't rust out any more then what it already is.

I will be back over spring break and for the summer as well.

I'm hoping to make the car show this weekend....not sure when I will get there though....work and kids always seem to have an impact on my plans!

Just pick a time and place and post it.....hopefully a few of us can make it.

On another note, anyone insterested in meeting up to go to the Monster Jam at Rexall place on the 13 (i think, not sure, i will double check it)
